Meet The Doctors
Dr. Tabanda-Lichauco graduated from Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in Manila, Philippines in 1987, with a premedical course of B.S in Medical Technology. After a year of residency in Internal Medicine at the United States Clark Air Base hospital in the Philippines, she moved to the USA to start residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in July 1990 in Beth Israel Medical Center (BIMC) in New York City, in affiliation with Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. She has served as a Chief Resident. This was followed by fellowships in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology in the same institution.
She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. After working for a few years at BIMC as junior pathologist, she worked as Pathologist for 5 years in Atlantic Health Regional Hospital in Sain John, New Brunswick, Canada, covering Anatomic Pathology, Hematopathology and Cytopathology. She then moved to Sierra Vista, AZ as Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist for 11 years, then 5 years with Diagnostic Pathology Consultants at TMC in Tucson, AZ.
She joined Tucson Pathology Associates in October 2023.
