Meet The Doctors
Dr. Kevin Trowell earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2016. He completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA in 2020. He received the Outstanding Contributions By A Resident Award in 2020. Following residency, he stayed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to complete a fellowship in surgical pathology in 2021, where he served as Chief Fellow and received the Horatio T. Enterline Surgical Pathology Award for outstanding performance as a fellow. He subsequently completed a Hematopathology fellowship at the University of Utah/ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, UT in 2022 where he was Fellow Assistant Medical Director of the ARUP Hemostasis/Thrombosis laboratory.
He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as Hematopathology. He has special interests in Hematopathology, Flow Cytometry, and Molecular Pathology. He holds active memberships in the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, Society for Hematopathology, and the International Clinical Cytometry Society.
